MINUTES-SPECIAL MEETING
AUGUST 18, 2014
Mayor Vossler called the special meeting of the City Council to order at 6:00 p.m. at the City Hall. Advanced notice of the meeting was given by posting in prominent places throughout the community. All proceedings shown were taken while the meeting was open to the attendance of the public.
Mayor James Vossler presided and City Clerk Debbie Gilmer recorded the proceedings. The following Councilmembers were present: Dan Drake, Phyllis Ryan, Stan Krause, and Harlan Schrock. A quorum being present and the meeting duly convened, the following proceedings were had and done.
As required by the Nebraska Open Meetings Act, Mayor Vossler announced that a copy of the Nebraska Open Meetings Act has been posted on the south door of the City Hall meeting room for all in attendance to review.
Discussion was had regarding proposals submitted for consideration for the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget. Motion was made by Krause, seconded by Schrock, to forward proposals submitted for the 2014-2015 fiscal year budget to the City Accountant to prepare in official format to be considered, adopted and forwarded by the City Council to the State of Nebraska Auditor of Public Accounts and to the Saline County Commissioners. On roll call voting aye, Ryan, Drake, Schrock, Krause. Nays none. Motion carried.
Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Drake, which motion was seconded by Krause. On roll call voting aye, Schrock, Ryan, Krause, Drake. Nays none. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 6:40 p.m.
